Local Tours

A local tour program is designed to provide the participants and their families an opportunity to appreciate the charms of Beijing . The program is as follows:

POST-CONFERENCE TOURS

Post-Conference Tours are designed to have participants know more about China . Two routes will be arranged.

(S) means single occupancy,  (D) means double occupancy.

Post-Conference Tour 1 ( T1 )

Beijing-Xian-Guilin-Shanghai ( 6 nights 7 days )

(February 8 to 14, 2007)

Itinerary

Feb. 8  Take morning flight from Beijing to Xian. Tour the Xian city in the afternoon. Overnight in Xian.

Feb. 9  Full day excursion to Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Hot Spring. In the evening go to the theatre to see the singing and dancing performance. Overnight in Xian.

Feb. 10  Visit Wild Goose Pagoda, Provincial Museum , the old City Wall .Take flight to Guilin . Overnight in Guilin .

Feb. 11  Full day excursion to Elephant Hill, Qixing Park , tour the city center. Overnight in Guilin .

Feb. 12  Full day excursion to Li River Cruise and the Yangshuo area. Overnight at Yangshuo.

Feb. 13  Tour the Reed Flute Cave and the Fupo hill. Take flight to Shanghai . Overnight in Shanghai

Feb. 14 Tour Shanghai Pudong new district, view APCE site, tour Yu Garden, the Old Town and the Bund. The tour will end at Shanghai airport in the afternoon.

Post-Conference Tour 2 ( T2 )

Beijing-Kunming-Dali-lijiang-Kunming ( 5 nights 6 days )

Itinerary  

Feb. 8  Take flight from Beijing to Kunming . Tour the Western Hill area. Overnight in Kunming .

Feb. 9  Full day tour the Stone Forest and Sani Minority Village . Overnight in Kunming  

Feb. 10  Take flight from Kunming to Dali. Tour the Erhai lake, the Butterfly Spring, old pagodas and the Dali old town. Overnight in Dali.

Feb. 11  Drive to Lijiang. Tour the Lijiang old town. Overnight in Lijiang.

Feb. 12  A full day sightseeing to Jade Dragon Snow mountain, Yak Meadow with chairlift, Longquan village, black Dragon Park ,etc. Overnight in Lijiang.

Feb. 13  Take flight to Kunming after breakfast. The tour end at the Kunming airport.

   

Notes for the tours:

1.  The quoting price includes:

• Accommodations with buffet breakfasts at 4-star hotels.

• Daily lunches and dinners at downtown restaurants in each city.

• Sightseeing by air-conditioned coach with an English-speaking city guide in each city.

• Inter-city transportation.

• Airport construction fee.

• Entrance tickets to local sites.

• Tips to guides and drivers.

2  Reservation and payment

• Participants need to inform us their full name and passport numbers to issue their flight tickets. Please let us know your phone and fax numbers also.

• The tour reservation should be made at least 20 days before the tours depart.

• If no accompanying person's name is indicated in your application, you will be treated as a single occupancy.

• You can arrange the continuing flight and the hotel from the tour end city by yourself. If you want, we could assist you.

• The T2 tour ends at the Kunming airport. There are daily flights from Kunming to Hongkong.

• Participants need to pay 150 US dollars to organizer as the tour deposit. The deposit will not be refunded, but is to be included in the tour charge if you come.

• Participants can use following methods for the tour payment.

Fill the form and the amount in the Special payment blank, when submitting the information you will see your order detail, check the information and “confirm” if it is correct. You will see the Secure Payment Site. Submit your order the payment is finished.

3. Cash or travelers checks at the registration desk.

The bank charge (4%) needs to be covered by the customers when they use bank transfer or on-line payment.
